This exciting science fiction series is a fast-paced adventure serial story that takes place in space and on Earth in the, not too distant future.  It has short action-packed scenes rather than chapters that are geared specifically at easily distracted reader. The vocabulary is not terribly heavy and characters range in age from 12 to 15 plus the many adults and grandparent figures.

It was originally written with the boy reader in mind but, because there are also female characters, it has transcended gender issues and has been very appealing to young girls in wide test markets. It has been reader tested with both sexes and appeals to both for different reasons. 

The Alpha City 2050 series, by design, “grows with the reader” and will evolve into a young adult line of serial novels.  Each book becomes more complex with a greater draw on the readers intellect and linguistic abilities.  In as much we have discovered that Adult readers are enjoying book 2, Alpha City 2050 - Rage of the Clones, finding it fascinating and informative.
This novel is the first book in a series with Book #2: Rage of the Clones and Book #3: Relativity being made available in the fall of 2006 and spring of 2007.

It is the author’s hope that coming from the fields of Child Psychotherapy and education that this series will inform, educate and excite the child, teenage and adult reader.
